Then we went and waited in line for about an hour to get started. So to pass the time we had a bit of a photo shoot.
The ceremony wasn’t too long, and the speeches were fairly interesting. The funniest part was watching people get hooded…first of all, I didn’t realize until that day that masters graduations including a hooding. Well, they picked the two shortest humans alive for this job and let’s just say the first 30 people were not very graceful….Either your cap was knocked off, or the hood ended up strangling you, it was hilarious for those of us still in the audience but we all started to freak out about going up!! After watching about 100 people go before us, we managed to not humiliate ourselves up on the big screen : )
We went out for a pre-dinner drink and Justine was able to join us! Forgot to get a pic of me and her, I was just so excited to be done!
Next, we headed to dinner at Beneventos in the North End.
Dinner was AMAHZING. The pics do not do the food justice at all…
I had the penne with vodka sauce and Italian sausage. And had leftovers for 2 days!
Our waitress was awesome and gave us some complimentary shots with our bill, they were yummy!
I love it here and can’t wait to go back, luckily I have a friend just a few streets over! I hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend ❤
